Sunday's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel included an article on the funding of the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (MPCP). As the sidebar to the story shows, each student in the MPCP now costs Milwaukee taxpayers $123 less than a student in MPS.
The local cost savings of MPCP pupils is a reversal of the "funding flaw" as defined by Mayor Barrett and others in January 2006.
